A woodland fishing tale

Whisperwood Vale

A cozy valley of ponds, rivers, misty lakes, a crystal cave, and a hidden millpond. Weather turns, neighbors remember you, and your journal stays on this device — no account. Eat, sleep, and keep a little warmth so an evening outside stays an evening, not a slog.

Waters of the vale

Each water has its own light, bait, and feel in the hands. Two of them wait until the vale knows you.

Calm Pond

Lily pads and a wide timing bar. Sit the starter dock to skip toward dusk.

Rocky River

A faster bar. Crickets help. Stone trout and swift darters.

Deep Misty Lake

Hold the line in a tension band. Night eels after dark.

Crystal Cave Pool

Walk the south hill. Erratic tension and glow bait in the cave lake.

Misty Millpond

Fog over a still wheel. A gentle timing bar, mill reeds, and whiskers in the race.

Windward Reach

Open water past the east boat. The swell leans on a tension line.

Come back at dusk

Days, seasons, and weather change bites. Sleep in the cottage. The title screen tells you if the mist is in.

Pack, bait, and a stall

Pick worms on the path. Press I for the pack. Wren sells bait and later rods. Cook at the cottage bench. A daily board asks for one fish.

Keep a journal

Every fish you land or lose goes in. Press J. Sightings count even when they get away.
